Temple Oraeki, BSc, MSc. – Chairman

Mr. Temple Oraeki holds a Master’s degree in Water and
Environmental Engineering from University of Surrey, United
Kingdom. He is a PTDF (Petroleum Technology Development Fund)
Scholar and a distinction graduate from the University of Surrey. His
first degree was in Chemistry from Ahmad Bello University, Zaria,
Nigeria, where he graduated as the best student of his department.
He is presently the Programs Coordinator of the Nigeria Young
Water Professional and an Advisory Board Member of Water Youth
Network. Temple is also the Co-lead of the Leave-no-one-behind
(LNOB) Group at Rural Water Supply Network (RWSN).
As a WASH Advocate and Independent WASH Consultant, Temple
has been providing support for various WASH interventions,
globally and in Nigeria, such as; Contextual Analysis of Faecal Sludge
Management in Nigerian Cities, Drafting of State Open Defecation
Free (ODF) Roadmaps, Review of State WASH Policies, Impact
Evaluation of WASH Projects and leading WASH advocacy
campaigns, especially on human rights to water and sanitation.
He has worked with the Energy Group of Guaranty Trust Bank PLC,
as a relationship officer. He has also worked as a water and
sanitation engineer with NVH Technology, United Kingdom, where
he served as the Team Lead in the design of bio-digester technology
for onsite waste treatment.

 

Amb. Amaka Judith Nweke JP, BSc, – Secretary

Amaka holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pure and Industrial
Chemistry; a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and
currently running a Master‘s degree in Guidance and
counselling. She is a committed social worker, WASH and
anti-corruption advocate.
Her passion for social development has seen her play
active roles in various WASH platforms. She is presently
the Coordinator of WASH Rights Network Nigeria;
Coordinator of WASH Justice Unit Nigeria Water Warriors
(NWW), and the Country Director of Global Society for
anti-Corruption (GSAC) – A social change development
organization that focuses on capacity development to
tackle corruption hindering access to public services such
as water, sanitation, education, and health.
Amaka has led several advocacy interventions to address
violation of citizen’s human rights to water and sanitation
in Nigeria.

 

Ebere Udeh, BSc. MSc., PhD – Member

Dr. Ebere B. Udeh holds doctorate degree in Ecology
and Environmental Science from Obafemi Awolowo
University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. She has over 15
years’ experience serving her country as an
environmental conservator and WASH vanguard.
She is presently the National Secretary of Nigerian
Environmental Society (NES) and had served two
tenures as the Chairman, Enugu State Chapter of
Nigerian Environmental Society. In her capacity
occupying these roles, she has led the review and
enforcement of relevant environmental laws and
standards in Nigeria, bothering on solid waste and
fecal sludge management.
She has vast experience as an Independent Consultant
and Researcher, conducting environmental-related
researches with several publications to her credit in
both local and international Journals. Dr. (Mrs.) Udeh
Ebere has also featured as key speakers in several
conferences, trainings and expert meetings. She is a
member Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).

 

Ifeoma Oraeki, BSc. – Member

Mrs. Ifeoma Oraeki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food
Science and Technology from Nnamdi Azikiwe
University, Awka, Nigeria. Ifeoma is a passionate
WASH Advocate who won the Sokoto State Best Youth
Corp member Award as a result of her Community
Development Service Project on provision of
Motorized borehole water supply facility to over 1000
people in Kaura Moda Community.
She is presently the Programs Coordinator of WASH
for Impact and Development (WASHfID) – a Youth-led
NGO driving sustainable access to WASH services
through evidence-based advocacy. Ifeoma is also the
Initiator of the flagship WASH and NTDs project
tagged #TakeOnNTDs that is making millions of
online and offline impressions as well as drawing
attention of key stakeholders in the Global NTD
Community.
Ifeoma has worked as a freelance WASH
Communications Consultant for the Ministry of Water
Resources, Enugu State and is presently serving as the
Co-chair, WASH Communications Task Team with
NTDs NGO Network (NNN)

 

Ogene Ogbodo, BSc. – Member

 is a Political Scientist, Civil Servant, an Activist and Farmer. Born on 9th September, 1986 at Ugbodu in Aniocha LGA of Delta State


A Graduate of Political Science, University of Jos, also holds Diploma in Law University of Jos and Professional Diploma in Education, Federal College of Education, Technical, (Potiskum) Yobe State

An NYSC President’s Honour Awardee and National Awards Winners, Vice Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria Enugu East Zone, Founder and Executive Director, Town Crier Initiative Africa.

Former Lecturer (Graduate Assistant) Yobe State University Damaturu 2016-17

Volunteered as Deputy Youth Program NEYIF, Volunteer Team Lead Centre for Memories Nzukọ Ụmụaka in School, State Team Lead NYEN-VSO

He is passionate about using Sports, Academic and Social activities to engaging girls and boys in generating discussion around to ending period Stigma, Ignorance and, poverty and also reducing the growing rate out of school children
